Review – Love, Sex & Music – Adam & Eve Pictures

Love, Sex & Music – Adam & Eve Pictures – Director – Will Ryder – Cast – September Reign, Nina Elle, Vanna Bardot, Whitney Wright, Misty Stone, Madison Sommers, Jay Romero, Joshua Lewis, Dorian Del Isla, Rusty Nails, James Bartholet and Frank Bukkwyd.

**** 4.5 stars

In his continuing series of Love, Sex and ______, director Will Ryder has gone from comedy to drama with this very solid award nom worthy effort about the shady dealings in the music business in Nashville, especially if you were black. Yes, Charley Pride broke that barrier and was a big star but many in Nashville turned away from him as well. This is a well written, superbly acted story that is extremely real and believable. I know, because I was part of the country music scene back in the 60’s and 70’s and again in the 90’s as a dee jay, talent agent and concert promoter and saw a lot of it. Of course, along with all the drama and the engrossing storyline that Ryder has created, there is plenty of eye popping sex going on that will keep your libido going strong.

September Reign, in an award nom performance, plays Dixie Gatlin an aspiring country music singer/songwriter looking to make it big in Music City. She runs into some backlash, but comes in contact with Nash Music run by Nina Elle, who is not exactly the nicest or above board person she appears to be. But she smells success with Dixie and takes her and her song by using a lot of deception, lies and more just to get the song for her prize singer Missy Free, played with just the right amount of bitchiness by Vanna Bardot. Dixie is warned about all the back stabbing by Whitney Wright, but now that she’s in so deep, she doesn’t know how to get out of it and move with her dreams. She confides in her sister Tina, back home recovering from cancer. Tina gives her all the advice she can and to not give up. Tina is played by Misty Stone in a very strong, dramatic non sex role. In the meantime, Dixie is really torn about her budding career and everything that is going on behind her back. Missy has a confrontation with Nina about the song and then has a heated go around with Dixie also further making things tougher for aspiring newcomer.

Of course, in between all these dramatic moments there is always time for some steamy sex play. This includes a very hot solo by September herself as well as a couple of boy/girl interludes that break from the story to get your juices flowing. Then Dixie meets old time country star Buck Bennett, played by adult film veteran Frank Bukkwyd in another award nom performance. Having been a country star he knows how the game is played and doesn’t like what is happening to Dixie. So he takes her under his wing to try and steer her in the right direction and get what rightfully belongs to her, meaning her music. Nina and her group don’t seem worried at all as they consider Buck an old washed up star of the past. But Dixe and Buck form an immediate bond and Dixie calls her sister Tina to tell her the latest and her sister says she will help anyway she can. With Buck guiding her she feels that soon everything will work out.

There is a big party thrown by Nash Music and the owner of the company, Pierre Le Fluer (Dorian Del Isla) shows up to help celebrate the big hit song that was actually stolen from Dixie. Of course, Missy has to show her appreciation for it and goes off with the owner for some steamy sex. But the celebration continues and will be short lived as the company is hauled into court and all hell breaks loose. The case is presided over by Judge James Bartholet and seems to be going against Dixie and her claims until the unexpected happens. Dixie’s sister Tina is a surprise show up in the court with recorded proof of the wrongdoing that Nash Music did to her sister. Now the judge has no other course than to rule in Dixie’s favor and is well that ends well. Now with Buck by her side as a mentor she can move on with her career.

Avery well written story from Will Ryder that is very realistic. The performances by the key players are excellent and award nom worthy adding to the believability of this production. The music in the film is well performed by a country band called the Honest Family Outlaws and they are a group you will hear more from in the future. Ryder’s direction and the cinematography are exceptionally well done and also award nom worthy. I have known Will a long time and while he has had many big hit films, awards and accolades, this may be among the best he has ever done. All I can add here is…….do not miss it!

Love, Sex & Lawyers – Adam & Eve Pictures – Director – Will Ryder – Cast – Kenna James, Kenzie Taylor, Misty Stone, Haley Spades, Kuleana, Claudia Valentine, Tommy Pistol, Charles Dera, Tyler Nixon, Davon Drake and Frank Bukwydd

**** 4 stars

Over the years Will Ryder has made his name with his reinventing the parody genre with his string of TV show parodies and all the awards that came with it. Then he moved into doing sex comedies and once again he hit the bulls eye with nominations and awards. Now he brings us another funny, sexy film that comes at a time when we all need some humor and laughs in our life. He has assembled a solid cast of performers who bring this whole production together in a nicely wrapped package of laughs and steamy sex.

Kenna is the girlfriend of Charles who is a lawyer along with his brother Tommy Pistol. Problem is that Charles wants freedom to play with others and Kenna isn’t aware of it plus she has her own problems. Seems like the Legal clinic she works for that is run by Misty and Frank have a lawsuit on their hands that Kenna was working on. Problem again because Kenna is not a licensed attorney so she can’t work there anymore and now has no job. In the meantime we go back to Charles and Tommy’s office and they have a client, Kenzie Taylor, who wants them to handle a lawsuit against a libido enhancement company because it is giving her major problems “down there” and she is not shy about showing them her problem.

Before you know she pulls Tommy down for a closer look and lick and then it really gets interesting as these two get into a full fledged encounter with sucking, fucking and everything else. I give kudos to both for staying character during this raucous sexual play. But it is after Tommy cums that was really funny to watch and see his expressions, ad libs and actions truly an art form. Tommy Pistol is one of the best in the business who can do comedy, drama and anything else that is called for. Here his comedic touches and expressions are priceless.

Then we get back to Kenna who is trying to solve her problems. Between her mom, who works for Charles and Tommy, and her relationship with Charles her world is a little screwed up and about to become even more so when she goes to the office and sees Charles in a compromising situation with Kenzie. Once again Tommy’s comedic touches and Charles expressions take over creating a very laughable situation. So she leaves with good old mom and they head home. But now she calls her sister Haley and finds out dear sis is at Kenna’s place having sex with old friend Tyler. After that romp Haley is off to dinner with mom, sis and Misty. At dinner Kenna tells them she is taking the bar exam and Misty fills her in about Charles and what a douche he really is.

Kenna shows up at the law clinic run by Frank and Misty and he tells her the bad news about Charles throwing her under the bus and ruining her potential career. She is heartbroken, but all is not lost. One week later Frank tells Kenna the good news that she has passed the bar exam and now she can pursue her dreams and give some payback to Charles, so they go celebrate. Frank tells Davon they won’t be back to the office and lock up which gives Davon a chance to have some fun with his secretary Kuleana.

Now Frank and Misty work with Kenna to get her prepared for her to handle the case against Charles. Four weeks go by and now the time has come. This is where I will leave you so that you can find out what goes on from this point. I can tell you it will be funny, sexy and has a nice little twist at the end.

With an excellent cast of performers, Ryder’s direction and the humor throughout this production move along at a nice pace so you get to know these characters. The sex scenes pack some hot steam and sizzle and I am still in awe of Tommy and Kenzie staying character during their sex scene, which wasn’t easy to do. As a matter of fact, when you pick up this DVD be sure to watch the BTS segment for all the behind the scenes goofs, fun and how a production is put together. This release will definitely garner some award nominations along the way and deservedly so. This is a very couple friendly release that will provide some laughs along with steamy sex scenes. I recommend getting a hold of “Love, Sex & Lawyers” from Will Ryder and Adam & Eve.

Review – Love, Sex & Fashion – Adam & Eve

Love, Sex & Fashion – Adam & Eve Pictures – Director – Will Ryder – Cast – Kat Dior, Jillian Janson, Misty Stone, Madi Meadows, Aliya Brinn, Whitney Wright, Charles Dera, Tyler Nixon, Jay Romero, Flynt Dominick with James Bartholet, Frank Bukkwyd and Tommy Pistol.

**** 4 Stars

The master of the parody and comedy, Will Ryder, is back at again with this follow up release filled with sex and a lot of laughs from a very competent and talented cast of players. Ryder has a way of writing some great scripts that bring in plenty of comedy along with a decent plot, sexy women, steamy sex and keeping your interest to see what gets said and happens next. You can tell right from the start that the cast has as much fun performing for Ryder as he has directing them and making it all come alive.

The whole story revolves around a fashion company, Bobby America, that is being overseen by Charles Dera. The actual Bobby America is the old, sickly, demented, always farting owner. He is comically played by James Bartholet. Kat Dior is his nurse, but also Dera’s girlfriend, but good old Charles likes to play with others without Kat finding out. There are plenty of sex scenes leading off with photographer Flynt Domick getting a nice sloppy, well done head job from model Aliya Brinn. Then there is another scene with Jillian Janson and Tyler Nixon that has some hot spark to it. As for the story, the company is getting ready to put a new fashion line together when word comes that Bobby America has died. This sets everyone back about what will happen next.

Then we have the memorial for Bobby where Frank Buckwydd, who handles the company books, speaks to all the people at the company. That’s when another round of laughs come along as the gardener, hysterically played by Tommy Pistol, wreaks havoc at this memorial, and again at the house after. Then we find out that Bobby left 49% of the company to his nurse Kat and that does not set well with Charles. As for the other 51% it belongs to Bobby’s daughter who no one even knew existed and that leads to more problems. They find out that the company is broke because someone put all the money elsewhere and the first thought is that Charles is behind it. Lavender, well played by Misty Stone, gets together with Kat to find out if Charles is the culprit and what else is going on. This leads to a wild sex scene with Misty and Charles. There is even more hi jinx that take place before everyone meets the daughter played by Madi Meadows. She and Kat are quickly drawn to one another and Charles is left out of the picture as these two get it on hot and heavy.

Great dialogue, super settings, a nice non sex appearance from Lacy Lennon and the usual over the top performance from Charles Dera, while Tommy Pistol continues to show he can do any kind of role and do it in convincing fashion. The sex scenes are well done and come at the right places in the film. The girls are all sexy and talented and we want to see more of newbie Aliya Brinn. Another good comedy put together by Will Ryder that will keep folks genuinely entertained. so be sure to get hold of this one.
