Casey: A True Story – Adult Time – Director – Joanna Angel – Cast – Kira Noir, Kenna James, Kylie LeBeau, Casey Kisses, Khloe Kay, Tommy Pistol, Dante Colle, Charles Dera, Owen Gray, Derrick Pierce, Small Hands, others.
***** 5 stars
This epic film showcase is based on the true life story of trans adult star Casey Kisses. It follows, in brilliant form, the road that had to be travelled by a trans woman who could become herself and have a life that would make her accepted and happy. What she is seeking does come about, but in the most unlikely of places. This story is spellbinding and mesmerizing taking you into a world you may have never known that much about. The directorial pacing and finesse of Joanna Angel on this spread wide open canvas of life is what exceptional films and awards are made for.
Right from the beginning with the great shots of the open road and all the flatlands and mountains, you are hooked into what is about to take place in this film. We meet Cameron, very well played by Dante Colle and his girlfriend Kira Noir. They are an in love couple and he is ready to take on being part of the biker world. Here he meets up with the bikers that include Derrick Pierce, Charles Dera and Small Hands. He goes through a lot to impress the guys that he belongs and has the encouragement of of Kira, but that becomes somewhat strained in due time. Cameron rises from flunky to an official member of the bikers group and everything seems headed in the right way, but Cameron has some inner feelings about himself that he is fighting. But it all comes out one night at a bar where he meets Robin (Khloe Kay). The biker guys tell him she is not a she and he tries to hide his curiosity from them. He later secretly goes to meet Robin and Cameron gives in to all his pent up desires and wishes regarding who he really might be under the guise of a macho biker guy. It is a powerful scene between these two.
In the meantime Cameron eventually is totally accepted by the club, his girlfriend Kira has had an encounter with Charles Dera and they both are seeing their relationship go in different directions. Cameron goes to see Robin again and it is another powerful get together. Then after a time someone snitches on Cameron about his encounter with Robin and now the bikers want him out for doing what he did. This all happens at a time when he is also waiting to meet with his father (Tommy Pistol in another power packed role) who is getting out of prison after fifteen years. There is a confrontation with the biker gang, but one of them, Rico, says he will always be there for him if needed. Cameron takes his father home and it is a good reunion for a time. When Cameron wants to take him to club, he first tells his father about his feelings about himself, his body and the transition he is going through mentally and wants to make the change permanent. This is one of the most dramatic and emotional scenes in the film that is beautifully done by both actors. After that they go to the club where he introduces him to a dancer (Kenna James) who he gets with and lets the cat out of the bag about his son and that has Kenna leaving in a hurry.
Now comes time for the transition of Cameron to Casey Kisses taking over the role. After the surgery and release from the hospital things at home with Casey’s father are okay in the beginning. With this new found personality Casey starts to doing private shows on the internet and is doing well as we see in one hot solo. Then comes a big major blow up with dad, and this scene is one filled with edge of your seat anger, destruction and fear. But she calls Rico and he and another biker to come to the rescue and get Casey away from everything so she can go on with her new life.
She heads to California and lands at a Cam house that is run by Kylie LeBeau (Casey’s real life partner) and shown around the house and gets the rundown on how things are done. Once she is comfortable, she is put right to work doing a three way scene with Kylie and Owen Gray that is the conclusion of the film. That is followed with some various side notes about Casey and her journey that appear on the screen as the camera follows her riding the open road and fade to black.
Summing up this extraordinary production it is hard hitting, it is real, it the world of today and it is masterfully put together. The casting is superb with stellar award worthy performances throughout. The writing from Ms. Angel, Casey and Shawn Alff was brilliantly scripted. The cinematography by Mike Quasar is incredible allowing for some spectacular visuals and the art direction from Kylie Ireland is spot on. The direction from Joanna Angel is flawless as she lets these characters grow and take things to the edge in a very realistic and heart pounding way. While the subject matter may be difficult for some, it is a film that must be seen not only to enjoy but to also learn from. “Casey: A True Story” will most definitely garner a number of award nominations from AVN and others. All I can add to what I have already written is, do not miss this absolutely mesmerizing adult film experience.

Black Widow XXX: An Axel Braun Parody – Wicked Comix – Director – Axel Braun – Cast – Lacy Lennon, Elena Koshka, Casey Kisses, Kenzie Taylor, Ramon Nomar, Mick Blue, John Strong and Seth Gamble
***** 5 Stars
Last year we gave you an overview of this blockbuster when it first came out. While it was not in DVD form and only available at the time via VOD, it was still a very powerful, excellent and entertaining parody from Axel Braun. With his penchant for comic book super heroes and a long track record of successful super hero parodies, this one was a no brainer. The very first award the is film got came from us at NightMoves with our First Choice award. That award is for films we feel will be major hits but were released after our cut off date for award nominations. Since that time the film has gone on to win several more awards from both AVN, XBIZ and just last night a couple of awards from the XRCO awards.
Like every production that Axel Braun does this one is no different when it comes to detail, special effect, costuming, a great story line, sizzling sexual scenes and most important excellent casting. It is all of these things that sets him apart and brings to an audience the very best in super hero parodies as well as his other forms of adult entertainment. All of the dozens of awards he has won in his long career did not happen by accident and this latest release just adds more to his overall legacy in adult films.
As for the film itself, Braun has taken a lot of the mainstream’s story and plot and created his own erotic spin while still keeping the context alive. In the opening we see Natasha (Lacy Lennon) tied to a chair and being questioned by the devious villain played by Mick Blue who hams it up. This confrontation sets the stage as the sexual side of Natasha begins to emerge as the Black Widow and she has Blue and his henchman (John Strong) right where she wants them. But not before she gets them all worked up in a wild, relentless threesome that is explosive. When that is finished and she is about to punish them even further in come Yelena (Elena Koshka) who is a “frenemy’ of Natasha. There is a lot of humor between these two besides some sexual energy that will happen later. They hit the road it Yelena’s sports car and then in time Black Widow meets up with Petra. This role is well covered and played by trans star Casey Kisses and turns into one very steamy scene with these two.
But there is even more fun coming your way in this latest from Braun. Ramon Nomar as the Taskmaster makes a solid showing and we have Captain Marvel (Kenzie Taylor) and Deadpool (Seth Gamble) up to their old tricks sexually once again. The action is fast and furious, the humor continues throughout and the sex is intense, hard hitting and powerful. The scene in the space ship with Lennon, Koshka and Gamble as Deadpool is hilarious. The finale with Taskmaster added is both funny and intense, but it is the very ending that explodes unlike you expect that is fantastic. Lennon has a great co star in Koshka and these two together make quite a team. However, make no mistake about it, Lacy Lennon as Natasha/Black Widow literally steals the show. Not only does she deliver sexually in sizzling fashion, but also as an actress who can turn on the drama and comedy switch in a second and deliver a captivating, winning performance in her role.
Once again Braun comes through with another all out, detailed parody of another comic book legend. The entire cast was at the top of their game, the special effects with the space ship and music were perfect, the action sequences were well choreographed and the writing crisp with just the right dose of humor throughout. It is no wonder that this film, since it’s “First Choice” award has gone on to win many more. If you have yet to catch up on the latest super hero parody from Axel Braun, be sure to add this one to the list. It is pure entertainment in every way and a great way to get you ready for Braun’s next release. That will be coming out this summer with another favorite from the comics, so stay tuned.

Dante Colle walked into the XRCO Awards with nominations for the biggest awards for Best Actor for Adult Time’s Casey: A True Story, and Male Performer of the Year. He’s been up for both awards multiple times over the past few months. His role in Casey won him acclaim from the critics and his worldwide fans. And now, his acting, on-screen presence, and sex scenes have won him his first XRCO Award. Last Thursday night at Boardner’s in Hollywood, Dante tied for Best Actor with Tommy Pistol for his work on the same film.
“I’m so bummed that I didn’t make it to the XRCOs to walk the red carpet and accept my award. I intended on going but was stuck late on set. Many of the awards I’ve won in the last few years have been virtual, so it would have been nice to accept this in person. I’m really honored that I was chosen to play such an incredible role and be part of telling Casey Kisses’ story. Thank you, XRCOs, Casey, Joanna Angel, and of course, Adult Time,” says Dante Colle.
