Ricky Greenwood Breaks Records with 54 AVN Awards Noms for Casts, Crews & Himself

(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood has broken his record with 54 AVN Awards nominations for his casts, crews, and himself for features and other projects he’s worked on for the past year.

Last week, the 2024 AVN Awards nominations were announced, and Ricky Greenwood, along with his casts and crews, made the list an impressive 54 times. His films “Feed Me” and “Sally Mae: The Revenge of the Twin Dragons “from Adult Time and “Machine Gunner” from Digital Playground scored Grand Reel nominations. Ricky was also acknowledged for directing and earned noms for Best Directing Portfolio – Mixed and Outstanding Directing – Individual Work for “Machine Gunner.” His Somegore zombie epic “Raining Blood” nabbed a Best Featurette nod.

Adult Time’s “Feed Me” scored noms for Best Art Direction, Best Leading Actor for Tommy Pistol, Best Leading Actress for Lulu Chu, Best Tag-Team Sex Scene for Episode 2 with Lulu Chu, Alex Jones, and Damon Dice, Best Music, Best Screenplay – Movie or Limited Series for Lilly Bell and Maddy Barton, and Best Non-Sex Performance for Ginger Lynn. 

Adult Time’s “Sally Mae: The Revenge of the Twin Dragons” snagged nominations for Best Leading Actor for Isiah Maxwell, Best Leading Actress for Ana Foxxx, Best Supporting Actress for Cali Caliente, Best Foursome/Orgy Scene for Part 4 with Ana Foxxx, Cali Caliente, Scotty P, and Thrill Monger, Best Art Direction, Best Editing for Clit Eastwood, Best Hair & Makeup for Raven Lux, and Best Music.

Digital Playground’s “Machine Gunner” swept many categories for nominations for Best Leading Actress for Kira Noir, Best Supporting Actor for Alex Jones, Best Non-Sex Performance for Herschel Savage, Best Tag-Team Sex Scene for Episode 2 with Kira Noir, Charles Dera & Scott Nails, Best Three-Way Sex Scene for Kayley Gunner, Luna Star, and Damon Dice, Best Oral Sex Scene for Kira Noir and Tommy Pistol, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography for Matt Holder, Best Editing for Stuart Pinchin, Best Hair & Makeup for Azzy & Raven Lux, and Best Music.

Ricky’s Dorcel projects did well. “More” snagged noms for Best Anthology Movie or Limited Series. “Climax 3” got a nod for Best Foursome/Orgy Scene for Kira Noir, Alexis Tae, Maya Woulfe, Alexia Anders, Lilly Bell, Isiah Maxwell, Nathan Bronson, and Alex Jones. “Trouble” received noms for Best Leading Actress for Lilly Bell, Best Supporting Actress for Jane Wilde, and Best Screenplay – Movie or Limited Series for Shawn Alff. “Emma 4 You” nabbed a Best Trans One-on-One Sex Scene nomination for Emma Rose and Victoria Voxxx.

Somegore’s “Raining Blood” received noms for Mark Stone Award for Outstanding Comedy, Best Featurette, Most Outrageous Sex Scene for Ana Foxxx and Tommy Pistol, Best Hair & Makeup for Alexxx Moon. Parasited snagged a Most Outrageous Sex Scene for “Infection” (or “Tribbing the Slug Fantastic”) for Kimmy Kimm and Lulu Chu.

His Mile High projects also received nods for Best Taboo Relations Movie or Limited Series for Family Sinners’ “Mixed Family 6,” Best Thespian – Trans/X for Zariah Aura in “That TS Beauty!” | My Best Friend’s TS Girlfriend 2 and for Foxxy in “Neglected” My TS Stepmom 6, TransSensual, Best Trans Movie or Limited Series for TransSensual’s TS Hot Wives 3, Best Trans One-on-One Sex Scene for TransSensual’s “My TS Stepsister 8 – Scene 1” for Jade Venus and Roman Todd, and Best Trans Series or Channel for TransSensual’s My TS Stepsister.

ART OF ADULT – Where Are They Now?? – Kimberly Carson

Kimberly Carson born in Norfolk VA. on September 27th 1962. She was part of a military family, so her early life was one of conservatism. But even in her younger years growing up it was obvious this stunning young lady was destined to do a lot more than working as a waitress or a clerk at local stores and establishments.

She arrived in Hollywood in the late 70s with dreams of making it big in mainstream films, like a lot of young girls. Her biggest pre-porn hit was the 1979 sorority sex farce ‘H.O.T.S.,’ a bounce-and-jiggle fest that seemed to be in constant heavy rotation on Cinemax during the 80s.

By 1982, Kimberly Carson had given up on her hopes of mainstream stardom and made the switch to porn. She jumped right in and quickly became one of the most prolific and popular women on the scene. She starred in some of the classics of 80s hardcore, including the original ‘New Wave Hookers 1.’

In 1983’s ‘Summer Camp Girls,’ Kimberly let loose with one of her most passionate outings ever, taking on a couple of biker type dudes in a pool table threesome that ranked as the heated high point of the flick. In the film ‘Marina Vice’ she got it one with the one and only John Holmes. Other highlights include Kimberly’s ravenous romp with Herschel Savage in ‘Bodies in Heat’ and her blistering scenes with Tom Byron in ‘Loose Times at Ridley High.’

New Wave Hookers is a famous 1985 pornographic movie with a popular soundtrack and featured some great stars of the time, Ginger Lynn, Desiree Lane, Kristara Barrington, Gina Carrera, Jamie Gillis, Tom Byron, Steve Powers, Peter North, Steve Drake and Kimberly. It would be followed by several sequels and a remake.

Kimberly Carson left the porn scene in 1989, after appearing in close to140 videos. She remains one of the most recognizable starlets of any porn era, with her rosebud mouth, button nose and black poodle cut.
