Girlfriends Films Honored with AVN Nominations 

Girlfriends Films Harnesses Multiple Nominations for the Upcoming 40th Annual AVN Awards  

     

VALENCIA, CA (November 10, 2022) – Nominees for the 2023 AVN Awards have been announced, and all-female adult film studio Girlfriends Films has been honored with nominations in several categories including Best All-Female Movie or Limited Series, Best All-Female Series or Channel, Best Female/Female Sex Scene, Best All-Female Group Sex Scene, Best Female Mixed-Age Movie or Limited Series, Best MILF/Female Mixed-Age Series or Channel, and Best Star Showcase. 

Receiving a nomination for Best All-Female Movie or Limited Series is Cheer Squad Sleepovers 37 starring Ava Sinclaire, Harlow West, Jazmin Luv, Gracie Gates, Leana Lovings, and featuring Girlfriends Films 2021 contract star Aubree Valentine in three scenes.  

Two of Girlfriends new original features were nominated Best Female Mixed-Age Movie or Limited Series. First is is B. Skow’s Lesbian Teachers Club starring Lexi Luna, Octavia Red, Jasmine Jae, Sera Ryder, Pristine Edge, Bess Breast, and Crystal Rush. Nominated in the same category is Lesbian House Moms, directed by B. Skow and starring Rachael Cavalli, Eva Long, XxLayna Marie, Reagan Foxx, Adalind Gray, Lexi Luna, Gracie Gates, and featuring Girlfriends 2022 contract star Lacy Lennon.  

Lennon expressed her gratitude and offered insight on her role in the film saying, “I am eternally grateful for the recognition that B. Two of Girlfriends Films’ all-girl sagas were named among the list of nominees for Best All-Female Series or Channel. Bad Lesbian received a nomination, as well as the studio’s flagship series Women Seeking Women. And in the Best MILF/Female Mixed-Age Series or Channel category, two series earned a nod for Girlfriends –B. Skow’s Lesbian Step-Daughters, and Lesbian Seductions Older/Younger with volumes directed by Skow and Lacy Lennon.  

Lacy Lennon, who directed and starred in Lesbian Seductions 75 commented on the news, “I’m really honored I was able to be a part of such a phenomenal DVD series. Earning a nomination for Best Star Showcase is Please Make Me Lesbian 22: Seduced by Serene featuring Girlfriends 2021 contract star Serene Siren paired in four scenes with cast-mates Emily Addison, Kendra James, Victoria Lobov, and McKenzie Lee. Siren shared her excitement saying, “I am absolutely honored to be nominated as Female/Female Specialty Performer of the Year for AVN, and for my Star Showcase to have garnered such great attention. MILE HIGH MEDIA AND AFFILIATES EARN 46 NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2023 AVN AWARDS

MONTREAL, Quebec (Nov. 9, 2022) – Mile High Media and its affiliated brands XEmpire and Bellesa have received a combined 46 nominations for the 2023 AVN Awards.
The nominations recognize the work of the companies’ acclaimed directors, performers and its award-winning studios, Doghouse Digital, Family Sinners, Sweet Sinner, Sweetheart Video, Reality Junkies, TransSensual, as well as those they distribute: Hard X, Erotica X, All Black X, Bellesa House and Bellesa Plus.
The awards honor excellence and outstanding achievement in the adult entertainment industry. The 40th annual event will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at Resorts World Las Vegas Events Center, 3000 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

Mile High’s leading couples’ studio Sweet Sinner received nine nominations that included the coveted Grand Reel for “The Hitman: Love Is Deadly,” the blockbuster thriller directed by Mike Quasar, starring Freya Parker and Best Leading Actor nominee Ryan McLane. Other nominations included Best Screenplay – Movie or Limited Series for “The Hitman: Love is Deadly,” whom Jacky St. James wrote.
TransSensual, Mile High’s acclaimed trans studio earned five nominations, including two for Best Trans Movie or Limited Series for “My TS Stepdaughter 4,” and “TS Cheaters 4.” The studio also earned a nod for Best Trans Series or Channel for the acclaimed series “TS Taboo.”
The popular all-girl studio Sweetheart Video scored four nominations, led by Best All-Female Movie or Limited Series for “Lesbian Massage 7,” along with Best MILF/Female Mixed-Age Series or Channel for “Lesbian Adventures: Older Women/Younger Girls.”
Mile High’s fauxcest studio Family Sinners received three nominations, including two for Best Taboo Relations Movie or Limited Series for “Daddy’s Girl 4,” and “Family Favors 3.”
Hard X led the way for XEmpire with 11 nominations including Best Curve Appeal Movie or Limited Series for “Booty Bounce,” starring Chanell Heart and Candice Dare, as well as Best Gonzo/Cinemacore Series or Channel for “Sexual Icons.” It also earned nominations for Best Multi-Partner Movie or Limited Series for “DP Me 13,” Best Ingénue Movie or Limited Series for “Super Cute 14,” and for Best Anal Movie or Limited Series for “Hardcore Anal Superstars.” Other nominations were Best Blowbang Scene for “Charly Summer’s First Blowbang” and “Spencer Bradley’s First Blowbang.”
Bellesa claims multiple nominations, including Best Gonzo/Cinemacore Movie or Limited Series for ‘Perfect Chemistry 4.’
Also receiving nominations were Doghouse Digital, All Black X, Erotica X and Reality Junkies.
The studios’ acclaimed directors Ricky Greenwood, Jacky St. James, James Avalon and Mike Quasar were each nominated for Best Directing Portfolio – Narrative while Quasar was nominated for Outstanding Directing – Individual Work for “The Hitman: Love is Deadly.” Noted director Mason also earned a nod for Best Directing Portfolio – Non-Narrative.
