(Los Angeles, CA / June 9, 2022) — Popular Canadian model, sex educator and content creator GoAskAlex takes center stage in the latest episode of 60 Second Docs, where she is featured in the short video, “Model with a Disability”.
In this engaging first-person profile, Alex briefly explains her daily life as the adult industry’s first and only model and performer with an ostomy – in 2019, she underwent life-altering surgery to treat her ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory bowel disease – which now necessitates the use of an external abdominal pouch.
“I was doing live webcam streaming for almost a decade, but I got a little bit burned out,” muses Alex of her unconventional career that, while gratifying and pleasurable, was also incredibly demanding and often difficult to maintain on a regular basis.
“I have persistent health issues, so now I do subscription-based work; I am self-employed and an independent creator… my work, it’s a very full-time job, but it’s all entirely what I feel like doing and what I’m interested in doing.”
