Recently, over the summer, Yura Kano has been writing her own articles on Fanza. Her articles are a double-feature about some of her life, what she’s doing outside or in JAV, and then a bit of her latest movie release.
In her “Summer Vacation” article, Yura talked about being busy, and staying busy, with her career in JAV. She enjoys what she does even though it can be quite physically demanding. She also loves talking to people but is at times a bit shy. Yura doesn’t want to coInterme across as being “fake” or anything like that. She just wants to try and get to know people who she may take a liking.
This time around, Fanza will be questioning this young pornstar as we get her to open up a bit about some topics.

Yura Kano: A Private Side
IV (Interviewer): If you had a school trip, who would be the actress you would like to share a room with?
Kano: JAV actress Kozue Fujita! She’s a cute little girl, but she’s really interesting on Twitter. I haven’t met her yet, but I think it would be fun to share a room with her.
IV: If you could share a room with Kozue Fujita, what would you like to talk about?
Kano: I’d like to talk about love! I have an image of Kozue Fujita as someone who is very interested in talking about her love life and past sexual habits, so I’d like to delve deeper into those topics in bed at night!
IV: That sounds like a lot of fun! What kind of love stories do you talk about, Yura-chan?
Kano: I’ve only had a couple of relationships, and I think I’m one of the least experienced people in my industry, so I’m basically a listener. The only thing I can talk about is the one time I had sex in an Internet cafe, so I’ll tell you about that in detail! (laughs)
IV: This series is about hot spring travel situations, but if you could travel anywhere, where would you most like to go?
Kano: I’d like to go to Australia! I like koalas, so I’d like to see them up close. I also heard that there’s a sloth conservation facility in Costa Rica, so I’d like to go there too.
IV: Costa Rica! That’s unusual. Do you like sloths?
Kano: I really like them. There’s something really strange about that creature, isn’t there? They hang from trees all the time, sometimes moving, sometimes s******g… It’s cute and funny. When I was searching for “sloth” on the Internet, I found information that there is a sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica where you can hold a sloth, so I would like to go there.
IV: So you’re interested in going abroad?
Kano: I wasn’t that interested in it until now, and I thought I wouldn’t have many chances to travel abroad in my life, but now I can’t travel at all due to the infectious disease, I feel like I want to go even more.
IV: Is there anything you would like to try when you go to the countryside?
Kano: Things I’d like to try? My hometown is in the countryside with nothing but rice paddies… Oh, I’d like to try camping by myself.
IV: Do you like camping?
Kano: I’m an indoor person, so I haven’t done much camping, but I was really into the anime “Yuru Camp” before, and that’s how I got interested in it. It’s an anime about a high s*********l camping alone, and she sets up a tent, boils coffee, and drinks it… It’s a very quiet anime, but I thought it was kind of nice.
IV: It’s a very quiet anime. What do you want to do when you go camping alone?
Kano: I have a YouTube channel where I make all kinds of food with a hot sandwich maker. The way they make the food is rough, but it looks really delicious, so I’d like to try making hot sandwiches just like them!
IV: Tell us how you spend the most intimate moments of your life, Yura!
Kano: It’s eating ice cream in the bath! You can’t do that when you live at home, right? That’s why I can’t stand the immorality of it… When I eat ice cream, my body gets cold, but since I’m taking a bath, I get warm. I also like to eat it while I’m under the covers! There’s nothing like eating ice cream in a warm place.
IV: Do you eat ice cream every day?
Kano: Yes! I eat it almost every day. I always have it in the freezer. I really think it’s great to live alone. Papiko (Papico) comes in a package of two, so if you buy it once, it lasts for two days. If I don’t have enough, I’ll buy three bags, but I always have one in the freezer for a while.
IV: What flavor do you recommend?
Kano: Papiko’s chocolate coffee flavor! It’s not too sweet and delicious, so please try it.
IV: What was the most memorable first experience you had as an adult?
Kano: Taking a cab. I debuted four years ago at the age of 18 and moved to Tokyo at the age of 19, but I first took a cab when I was 21. Before that, I was afraid of taking a cab, so I always took the train or bus.
IV: Why did you decide to take a cab?
Kano: There was a studio that was closer to me by car than by train. The night before, I decided to take a cab, so I entered the destination in the cab app in the morning. With the app, all I had to do was enter the destination, and the fare was automatically deducted from my account. There is no need to exchange information. When I got on the train, I was worried about whether it would actually arrive. I was worried, but we arrived safely! (laughs)
IV: What did you think of your exciting first cab ride?
Kano: I used to drive around a lot when I was living at home, so it reminded me of that time and I felt surprisingly relaxed. There was a monitor in front of me, and they were talking about some business tools, and I was watching them, thinking that I didn’t understand anything about the world.
IV: Please tell us about a situation that has excited you a lot lately!
Kano: There’s a girl named Nanami Asari from THE iDOLM@STER (video game) that I’ve been crushing on since I was in high school. There’s a general election every year in THE iDOLM@STER, and the top-ranked character gets a voice and can sing, but to be honest, there are about 100 characters and it’s hard to get to the top. But this year, Nanami Asari finally came in first and got a voice! I was so excited when that happened!
IV: I could feel your enthusiasm! I’ve been rooting for her so much.
Kano: I voted every day and bought CDs to support her. At first, she wasn’t that popular, but as the rankings went up year by year, I was really hoping that she might get a voice. The cheering videos made by her fans were also becoming quite popular, and I thought, “This is the year she’s going to make it,” and this year she finally made it! When I found out, I fell to my knees at the sink!
