VR titles have been on the rise in the JAV industry as it’s been in the technological world in general. When we first got our first taste of HQ VR titles, we made an article about it to let you all know that we have this brand new tech to bring for you to enjoy your high-quality movies.

We covered a discussion similar to what you’re going to read through today. When we went over The First Half of 2021, multiple figures in the JAV industry came together for a lengthy video call chat to discuss everything. Their goal was to take a look at the industry as it was at the time. They deduced that being active on social media is a critical activity that every JAV actress should be doing.
This time around, the men in this discussion are going over VR titles and their impact on the industry. We have Dongfeng of Fanza, Koarataro (JAV Director), and a young man responsible for creating fantastic tech in JAV, VR Onii-san (his codename – VR Brother).

VR’s Impact & Notable Stars
Dongfeng: How did you decide which actresses were chosen for those first four titles?
Koara: In the industry, it’s called “behind-the-scenes filming”. There was a regular 2D shoot with four actresses, and I asked the four actresses who were there to let me take VR shots of them in turn during the time when they weren’t on.
Dongfeng: But there’s no precedent for VR filming, and I’m sure the actresses must have been very confused.
Koara: It looked difficult, but one of the four actresses was able to get right into the VR right from the start.
Dongfeng: Amazing! Who is that?
Koara: Kanna Misaki.
Dongfeng: Oh! Kanna Misaki, the “Queen of VR”!
Koara: Because it’s the first VR in the porn industry, all four titles had good sales. Thanks to her, my name became known to the world, so I really can’t thank her enough.
Dongfeng: Did you thank Kanna-chan in any way?
Koara: I treated her to yakiniku (grilled meat) with the people from the office… Just once, though.
Dongfeng: When you first shot Kanna-chan’s VR, what did you think was outstanding?
Koara: Her acting was very good. In adult VR, the talking part is so important that it’s called “talking porn”, but Misaki has a great talent for writing and a rich vocabulary, so she was able to improvise a lot. I tend to say the same lines over and over again. But Misaki had 10 lines like, “Does it feel good?” She had about 10 variations of the same line.
VR… The Second JAV Industry?
Dongfeng: If Kanna Misaki is the “First VR Queen”, who do you think is the latest VR Queen?
Koara: Well, everyone is getting better at VR acting equally now. Besides, many of the newcomers these days have “acting ability, service mind, and receptiveness” from the start. Perhaps it’s because they’ve been doing TikTok and the like since they were amateurs and are used to showing off something to others.
Dongfeng: It’s true that newcomers these days are very good at talking on TikTok. Also, actresses who have debuted in the past two years are of a generation where VR shooting is a part of their work as a JAV actress from the beginning.
Koara: That’s right. There are even girls whose first job was in VR, so the newcomers nowadays have no resistance at all to VR shooting.
Dongfeng: On the other hand, veteran actresses who have been doing 2D work for a long time must be a bit confused by the sudden increase in VR work.
Koara: There may have been some confusion, but actresses who have been doing this for more than five years have great technique and experience, so they are able to handle VR well. Also, what I thought was good about the advent of VR was that before, actresses who had been in the business for five years had already been in most genres, and there were no more situations to shoot, so sales of their works would have gone down. But now, with the birth of VR, it’s possible to continue acting for a longer period of time.
Dongfeng: It’s true that when there was no VR, actresses moved on to mature women’s and married women’s work after about the fifth year, and those who did well in that transition were the ones who survived.
Koara: But now, with the new world of VR, even if you’ve done a lot of 2D work in various genres, you can now challenge various genres in VR as well.
Dongfeng: It’s like a “second AV industry” has been born.
Koara: It really is! And the first VRs released by veteran actresses who have been doing it for 5 years or so sell like crazy! She’s a good actress and has good technique. There are many veteran actresses whose careers have been extended thanks to VR.
Dongfeng: Among the veteran actresses, who do you think is “amazing at VR acting”?
Koara: I’d have to say Hibiki Otsuki and Yui Hatano. They can handle any situation with ease. I was reminded that this is what makes legends so great. Moreover, both of them have a lot of passionate fans, right? So there are a lot of people who have become VR users because of these two.
Dongfeng: Since the Corona disaster, the number of events for actresses has decreased drastically, so the value of VR has increased, even more, hasn’t it?
Koara: It’s true that with the increase in the number of stay-homes, live-in VR where you can experience the feeling of being alone with the actress in the house has become popular. I’m glad I could help the stay-home industry in some small way!
Dongfeng: I wish the government would subsidize the purchase of AVs since they contribute to stay-homes (laughs).
Conversation Director: Of all the actresses you’ve shot, if you had to give a recommendation, who would be at the top of the list?
Koara: Hmmm, I can’t answer that. Please put a big sign saying “Koarataro cannot rank girls!” I think that would increase the sensitivity of the actresses (laughs).
Dongfeng: It’s disgusting that you would say something like that (laughs). (laughs) Also, when I looked at the list of recommended works that the director gave me beforehand, there were an awful lot of works by Mayuki Ito.
Koara: Ouch! I’m a big fan of all the actresses, but I think I especially recommend Mayuki… (whispering)
Dongfeng: So, I guess the number one recommendation is Mayuki Ito, right?
Koara: No! Koarataro can’t give a ranking to a girl!
Dongfeng: You’re such a pain in the ass… (laughs). So, regardless of rankings, can you tell us what’s so great about Mayuki?
Koara: She has a body that looks great in VR! She’s so perfectly styled that you’d think she was a figure, her skin is so white, there are no stains on her body, her breasts are big, soft, and shapely, her nipples are just the right size, her ass is big, and her pores are smooth. (praise endlessly)
Dongfeng: How much praise do you give in such a short time (laughs)? (laughs) You say you don’t rank actresses, but you’re clearly singling them out!
Koara: But it can’t be helped because it’s true! There are many actresses who aspire to her style.
Dongfeng: It’s true that when I first saw Mayuki’s breasts in VR, I thought they were some kind of new sweets. It was like a strawberry daifuku with a lot of elasticity.
Koala: It looks so sweet and delicious when you lick it! Dongfeng and I seem to be on the same page!
Dongfeng: When I saw her waist in the back position in the VR, I couldn’t help but say, “She’s so thin!”
Koara: That’s right! And yet her hips and breasts are so big, she’s a real Fujiko Mine (busty anime character)! I heard that she’s been working out hard at the gym to get that body.
Dongfeng: I’m so happy to be able to hold such a super beauty, even if it’s in VR.
Dongfeng: Which of Mayuki’s VR films do you recommend the most?
Koara: They’re all good, but I’d have to go with Lingerie Maker VR (VR – I Got A Job At A Lingerie Company Where The Female Staff All Walk Around In Their Underwear, And My Supervisor Has An Awesome Body! She Wants My Opinion On Her Outfit, But I Pop A Full-On Boner, So She Takes Care Of It For Me! – Mayuki Itou” (kawaii*) is also great! “When I got a job at a lingerie manufacturer, my boss Mayuki-chan was in charge of training me, but at this company, everyone has to wear underwear while working. It’s an amazing company!”
Dongfeng: You’re the one who came up with the idea of an amazing company (laughs). It’s a work that’s more about erotic fantasy than reality.
Koara: It’s such a great place to work, but the guy gets sick of his job and tries to quit on the third day. He tries to quit the company, but Mayuki stops him, saying “Don’t quit! And she said, “I didn’t teach him well.” Then she says to him, “I guess I didn’t teach you well enough…” and she starts having sex with him.
Dongfeng: That’s a very convenient story for the guy (laughs). How did you come up with this situation?
Koara: I thought Mayuki looked sexy and cool in her underwear, so I thought I could introduce her in her underwear by setting her up as an underwear maker (laughs).
Dongfeng: There’s a lot of underwear in this scene (laughs).
Koara: It’s totally my hobby (laughs). She’s naked in the scenes where she gets involved, but in the bonus video at the end, she walks on the desk at work in her underwear like it’s a runway. You can see her in her underwear in about six different ways.
Dongfeng: In many of your films, you include an image scene of the actress with her clothes on at the end, don’t you?
Koara: I put that in simply because I want to see it (laughs). (laughs) If I’ve shot a proper film, I think it’s okay to include a bit of footage that I want to see as a bonus at the end.
Dongfeng: That’s a good idea. The users can only benefit from the bonus footage, so please continue to do so! Besides Mayuki, who are your favorite actresses?
Koara: I also like Miru!
Dongfeng: You say you don’t rank them, but then you answer with a bang (laughs).
Koara: Miru-chan also looks great in VR.
Dongfeng: It’s true that Mayuki-chan and Miru-chan’s VR works are selling like hotcakes. I really like Miru-chan’s voice.
When you watch VR, you wear earphones or headphones, so you can hear the actresses’ voices more clearly.
Koara: Miru’s voice is especially easy to listen to. It’s like it’s sinking in.
Dongfeng: I really think that Miru-chan can be active as a voice actress. Like Asuka’s line in Eva, “Are you stupid?” which is a little uptight and devilish, suits her very well!
Koara: I know what you mean! Miru doesn’t talk too fast and has a good tongue, so it’s very easy to understand her words.
Dongfeng: Not only does Miru have a great voice, but her squirting is one of the most powerful in the porn industry. That splashing tide is really suitable for VR.
Koara: I’ve been checking out miru’s VR too, and when the squirt comes flying at me, I can’t help but avoid it. (laughs). “It’s coming!” It’s like a splash attraction in a dreamland.
Dongfeng: When you’re about to squirt, or when you’re about to come, your anus crunches. When I saw that in VR, I was shocked. It’s like an uncensored sex toy.
Conversation Director: Well, you two are talking so much that VR Onii-san (VR Brother) is getting left behind…
VR Brother: …I’m a technician, so I can’t get into conversations about anal or anything like that (laughs).
Dongfeng: I’m sorry, I’m getting carried away… Who are some of the actresses you’ve seen on set that you thought were amazing?
VR Brother: I’m still new to the industry, so right now, every time I go to a shoot, I always say to the actresses, “That’s so erotic! It’s amazing!” (laughs). But out of all of them, Tsubasa Hachino was the best. The scene where she whispered lewd words in my ear was really amazing.
Koara: By the way, which VR work did you get into the most, Dongfeng?
Dongfeng: Director Koara’s work, Akari’s (Akari Mitani) “[VR] Loads Blown Every 5 Minutes. Premature Ejaculation & Recovery VR Akari Mitani” The story is about a guy with premature ejaculation who gets off a lot, and since I also have premature ejaculation, I could really relate to it.
Koara: Did you get emotionally involved in the premature ejaculation part (laughs)?
Dongfeng: In the other VR productions that Akari is in, the actor has to endure a long period of time even when he’s in a hard cowgirl position. It’s absolutely impossible for us amateurs to endure that kind of cowgirl position. But in this, when Akari does a hard cowgirl position, the guy immediately shoots his load inside her. It’s very realistic and it’s exactly what would happen if you had premature ejaculation.
Koara: Did you also ejaculate once every five minutes?
Dongfeng: As expected, once every five minutes is impossible (laughs). I probably fired three times in the 77 minutes of recording time, so that’s once every 25 minutes.
Koara: I think that’s still pretty impressive (laughs).
Dongfeng: Also, in this movie, Akari calls my premature ejaculation “cute ♡”. This is the only time I’m glad I’m alive and have premature ejaculation.
Koara: I didn’t realize that people with premature ejaculation were so happy to see her (laughs).
Dongfeng: And it was shot in a very long phase, so you can see the sweat pouring out of Akari’s body more and more.
Koara: Ms. Mitani was more like an athlete than a porn star, as she kept doing intense exercises like cowgirl.
Dongfeng: Akari is famous for her great cowgirl position, but when you watch her in VR, you can clearly see the two dimples on her ass when she’s in the back position. That’s the best part!
