She’s gone from a transparent debut to being even more open with this Madonna series. To first portion kicked off with a look back on her past five years. Kana had a straightforward outlook toward her time in the JAV industry. She felt that she could. “either try my best for only three months or keep going forever.” She was then asked about what sort of beauty elements had she learned about herself.
Kana went into talking about the Japanese porn industry being more for men. So, naturally, everything she did on camera was to please the male viewer. But, there’s the woman in the porn movie that’s important. How she has her hair done or how her body looks. It matters to her, first and foremost. But whether her stomach has a bit of fat or something else isn’t quite as “perfect,” it is still that woman. To Kana, being natural is more erotic and sexy than anything else.

IV (Interviewer): What did you do before your JAV debut?
Mito: I was a dance instructor. You might imagine someone involved in dance to be cheerful, but… I’m actually quite shy, I’m the type of person who keeps to myself (laughs). Also, I like to work alone, so I often traveled abroad by myself when I was in my twenties.
IV: Traveling abroad by yourself is fun because you can move at your own pace. But do you ever feel a little lonely?
Mito: That doesn’t actually make me feel lonely or anything. That’s why I don’t think it’s too much. When you’re traveling, it’s good to meet people locally so you can keep a reasonable distance from them. When I traveled alone to the U.S., I was picked up by a man there who was also traveling alone. While we were having tea and talking, we started to talk about traveling to Canada and changed the destination.
IV: You’re free!
Mito: I really hit it off with that person. Not only was he attractive as a man, but he was also fun to be with as a person. And yet, we have great sex chemistry (laughs). So we were actually having sex almost every day.
IV: When you’re traveling, you have all the time in the world at your disposal.
Mito: That’s right. I can’t do sightseeing every day. In addition, because I was on a trip, I felt as if I had lost my grip on the world… That being said, maybe it’s because shooting adult films is so unusual that I can really get into it and enjoy it. I feel that the stimulation of the unusual is also connected to beauty.
IV: How do you think the unusual and beautiful are connected?
Mito: I’m very excited about the unusual. I wonder if it activates the female hormones? I don’t know anything about medical science, but I think that there is a certain amount of tension that comes with the unusual experience, and that stimulation makes women more beautiful.
IV: What was the reason for your debut in the first place?

November 2017: Kana Mito’s Debut
Mito: After I decided to become an actress, I thought it would be better if I didn’t have a fancy name. So when I was shooting my first movie, the director, producer and I were talking about it, and we decided on “Kana Mito.” I really like the sound of this name, which is not perfect and has a hint of imperfection.
January 2018: First Drama, “My Husband Doesn’t Know”
Mito: I thought I would be nervous for my first drama. However, since I have been dancing for a long time, I didn’t have any trouble expressing my emotions and rather enjoyed it. Moreover, there was a golf scene in the drama, and I was happy to be able to do what I love. The scene where she was being embraced by her husband, desperately trying to keep her voice down so he wouldn’t find out, would never happen in everyday life, but it was very exciting and stimulating to play it out.

Mito: We had talked about doing something for the first anniversary of our debut. We had several ideas and decided to play with a black man. During this shoot, I asked myself beforehand, “Will I be able to get in?” (laughs) I guess I did it once before the shoot to test out the results.
Of course, it was large in size, but it wasn’t that ferociously hard, and above all, he was a good man, very caring, kind, and cooperative, so it went smoothly. December 2018: Madonna’s 15th-Anniversary
Mito: Most of the other actresses were already very experienced, so I was very nervous. But I learned a lot from them. I think I was able to expose myself to the best of my ability in various scenes. April 2020: First Collaboration, Premium x Madonna with Aika Yamagishi
Mito: The theme of this work is very profound… We exchanged the actor who played my husband with the actor who played Ms. Yamagishi’s husband, it turns into a swapping between two couples, that’s when the couples began to be happy. I felt that life has a lot of depth, and I thought that AV is interesting because it allows such a wide range of expression.
