38TH Annual XRCO Awards Show
Thursday evening, May 5, 2022, the 38TH Annual XRCO Awards Show was held at Boardner’s by La Belle located at 1652 North Cherokee Avenue, in the Hollywood portion of Los Angeles, and yes, I attended as press.
The hostesses for this year’s event were Alexis Fawx and Bridgette B., and the trophy girls, also known as, “Heart-On Girls,” were Leana Lovings and Bunny Madison.
Some of the many people in attendance, in alphabetical order, were: Britney Andrews, Julia Ann, Penny Barber, James Bartholet, Leya Falcon, the reigning Tommy Gunn, Max Hardcore, Todd Hunter, publicist Erika Icon, Kenna James, Kay Lovely, Isiah Maxwell, Jeff Mullen A.K.A. Will Ryder, September Reign, Pacific Productions’ Tony Smith, agent, owner, and founder of Spiegler Girls Mark Spiegler, Evan Stone and Katie Morgan, Angela White, and SAG-AFTRA WGA broadcaster/writer Matthew Worley.
And now for the nominees and winners.
Best Release nominees were: Blue Moon Rising, MissaX/Pulse, Casey: A True Story, Adult Time/Pulse, Muse Season 2, Deeper/Pulse, One Night in Barcelona, Dorcel/Pulse, Primary Season 2, Lust Cinema, and Psychosexual, Vixen/Pulse. And the trophy was won by Psychosexual, Vixen/Pulse.
Best Comedy nominees were: Black Widow XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, Wicked Pictures/Pulse, I Love You, You’re Fired, Lust Cinema, Influence Emily Willis, VMG/Pulse, Ink Motel 3, AltErotic/Stunner, Joanna Angel’s Dungeon Furniture Emporium, Burning Angel Entertainment, Love, Sex, &: Lawyers, Adam & Eve Pictures, and That Mom Is Stacked, NSFW/Pulse. And the award was accepted by none other than Jeff Mullen A.K.A. Will Ryder.

Best Director (Non-Features) nominees were: Jonni Darkko, Manyel Ferrara, Jules Jordan, Maestro Claudio, Mason, Pat Myne, Mike Quasar, Laurent Sky, and Chris Streams. And the trophy went home with Mike Quasar.
Best Director (Parody) nominees were: Axel Braun, Bree Mills, and Luka. And the winner was Axel Braun.
Best Director (Web) nominees were: Mike Adriano, Derek Dozer, Julia Grandi, Ivan, Miles Long, Mason, Bree Mills, and Laurent Sky. This award went home with Laurent Sky.

Male Performer of The Year nominees were: Mick Blue, Dante Colle, Manuel Ferrara, Seth Gamble, Isiah Maxwell, Ramon Nomar, Tommy Pistol, Jax Slayher, and Michael Stefano. And Isiah Maxwell took this award home.
Personal Favorite nominees were: Vanna Bardot, Blake Blossom, Gabbie Carter, Avery Christy, April Olsoen, Charlotte Stokely, Alexis Tae, Angela White, and Emily Willis. And Angela White won the trophy for this category.
Trans Performer of The Year nominees were: Ariel Demure, Aubrey Kate, Casey Kisses, Daisy Taylor, Lena Moon, Natalie Mars, and Jade Venus. And the award was won by Casey Kisses.
New Starlet nominees were: Blake Blossom, Anna Claire Clouds, Destiny Cruz, Lily Larimar, Kay Lovely, April Olsen, Sera Ryder, Maya Woulfe, and Angel Youngs. And Blake Blossom took this trophy home.
