Soaring Pre-Sales, Fan Demand Spark Shift to Coveted Fall Launch Date
(Los Angeles, CA / February 8, 2022) — Fans of Maitland Ward that have been eagerly awaiting the July arrival of her explosive new memoir, Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me from Hollywood, will have to wait a bit longer, as publishing imprint Atria Books/Simon and Schuster announces that the book’s official release date has been moved from July 5 to September 6.
The wildly popular adult film performer and mainstream actress, who is currently prepping her new streaming series The Big Time for an autumn unveiling, explains that she is enthusiastic about the 256 page tell-all’s new launch date.
“I wanted to get the word out that my book’s release date has been moved back a couple of months to September, which is historically the most coveted time period to launch a new title, so I’m actually quite excited about this new turn of events,” says Ward of the nine-week delay.
Ward is also touting the book’s early success as the highly anticipated page turner – which the flame-haired star calls “one of the proudest moments of my career” – has already topped Amazon’s pre-sale lists since its official cover announcement back in December, and fans can still count on her dropping racy excerpts from the tome “in the coming weeks and months – stay tuned!”
