ED Publications  Announces “Changing of the Guard”

ED Publications, the national trade magazine, convention and associated websites for the multi-billion-dollar adult nightclub industry, has announced a “changing of the guard.” Don Waitt , who established ED Publications in 1991 and the Gentlemen’s Club EXPO in 1993, has moved into an advisory role with the company, and now carries the title of “Founder.”  Dave Manack , who has served as ED Publications’ Associate Publisher and Editor-In-Chief for over two decades, will become Publisher  and run the day-to-day operations for the company.

“Though I’m not ready to fully retire, I am ready to take a step back and pass the reins for the day-to-day, in-the-trenches operation of ED Publications on to the next generation,” says Waitt. “In this case, the next generation is Dave Manack, who is a perfect choice to continue steering the ship that is ED Publications. Manack has been with the company almost from the beginning. He is well versed in all things ED, from publishing the magazine to running the EXPO to producing the annual EDI contests. As of January 1, 2022 he will assume the role of Publisher.”

“I am excited to enter a new era with ED Publications, and I look forward to all of the challenges that come with the role of Publisher,” says Manack. “I’m proud to say that I’ve been a part of ED Publications’ and the EXPO’s growth over the past two-plus decades, and I am dedicated to continuing that growth and evolution in the years to come.”
