I got my start in the industry quite by accident. I had participated many times in the “lifestyle” as a unicorn, and a man that I was with told me I would be perfect for porn. I chose to work in adult films because yes, I get to have sex with some of the most gorgeous people God ever created, but I also have gained a sense of family and identity that I never had. I get to meet so many creative, and special people that others may not get the opportunity to. The best thing is, I get to create art within the world. Which I learned translates into a great escape from the outside world for my fans. How many people in the world get to say that?
Being in the industry as a performer is just one of my facets. I also assist in running a lab that focuses on STI testing. Bringing knowledge to what I call “civilians” in the outside world, about how STIs work, and taking the shame away from testing. That is one of my biggest passions. Sexuality has become a more important aspect of the industry, so testing should be as well. I’m not there to judge your actions, I’m there to celebrate them and you. Ensuring that you are counseled on how to properly protect yourself, and to consult and inform if there is a positive result. At the lab I work within, we have a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. I tell people all day that I’m in porn. That really breaks the ice. I speak with care and attention when I tell every client I see, tell me your symptoms, tell me your fears, and maybe I’ll even make you laugh. My goal is when you leave my lab it makes you feel that it was a great experience. That is who Bree Austin is. That is who I always have been. I hope fans always know, I am a performer who loves porn just as much as they do. Maybe even a little more than they do.
