Have you enjoyed the latest entry to Madonna’s “How to make a beautiful woman” series? Maki Hojo is a JAV actress who’s been in the industry for 16-years. However, she’s been under the name “Maki Hojo” for the past twelve years.
During the first part of her “beauty series,” Maki talked about first entering the industry as an older, mature woman. The studio wanted her to gain some more fat on her body as she was lacking the “Milf” look. She did just that, gaining around 17-pounds to alter her body some. Even though she did something like this, Maki still paid some attention to her body. While she hasn’t done all of the things other women might do, the activities she does complete are to deal with the fatigue of the job since it requires a lot of physical energy.
Maki then talked about being aware of how her body is, namely her fingers on a glass, when she’s out with a man for dinner. It’s important to her to keep this sense of “beauty” as a proper woman when there may be eyes on you.
We’re returning with another addition to talk about Maki’s beauty. This time, she’s going over some important dates in her “Life Graph.”

IV (Interviewer): After all, if you have been acting as long as Ms. Hojo, some men will ask you, “Are you Hojo-san?”
Hojo: Yes, there are. But if you know it’s me and you come to me, you can’t ask me out to dinner.
IV: Why is that?
Hojo: Hmmm… I guess it’s because when I’m approached as a JAV actress, I feel like I have to play Hojo. I’ll think about it when you feel attracted to me as a woman and ask me to join you (laughs).
IV: So, have you ever been approached and gone out to dinner?
Hojo: Yes, I have. I was picked up by a guy, and I turned him down once. But there was a guy who approached me three times and said, “I can’t give up.” The mood wasn’t bad, and he said, “I can’t give you my contact information, so please give me yours.” So I dared to contact him after about five days.
IV: So, again with the hurry (laughs)!
Hojo: Yes. I’ve learned through my work as an actress that people feel better and enjoy themselves more if they wait a long time for something, so that’s what I do. Moreover, it’s more fun to take the initiative in making the other person feel impatient.
IV: Does impatience make a woman beautiful?
Hojo: Of course I do. Because if I’m impatient with my partner, then I also have time to feel that I want it. That kind of impatient time is what matures a woman, isn’t it? And he replied, “I thought you’d never come back!” And the tension exploded. I’ll leave it to your imagination whether I tasted him after that or not… (laughs)

Hojo: The name “Hojo” was actually given to me in the hope that I would become an actress who would leave a mark on the history of the adult film industry, just like the historical figure of Masako Hojo. The kanji characters have a great impact, and I made an effort to increase the range of genres and challenge myself to do various things. In addition to appearing in productions, I also wanted to be active in events and photoshoots.

Hojo: When I started meeting fans at events and photo shoots, I knew that my continued work would bring them joy, and my motivation for my work increased considerably. Also, when I found out that the Best Actress Award was a popularity contest, I realized that it was all thanks to you…. I made up my mind that as long as I continue to do this job, I will continue to think about what I can do for my fans.
I’m learning a lot by being in different productions
Hojo: Anyway, I decided that I wanted to do something for my fans, so I tried my hand at some hardcore stuff, which I’m not really good at. What I found was that there were two types of people: those who wanted to see me like this and those who didn’t want to see me like this. I don’t know if the result was good or bad, but it gave me a chance to deepen my understanding that there are people with various sexual proclivities. For example, “I feel better when I’m rushed” is something I experienced through the many lascivious works I tried at that time.
In April 2019, she became an exclusive Madonna actress
Hojo: It’s not something you can just get down on your knees and become a full-time actress, so I was very happy that the manufacturer took notice of me and asked me to be a part of it. I like Madonna’s dramas because they are very exciting. Bosses and subordinates, infidelity, mother-in-law and son… I find it more fun and rewarding to play the role while imagining the stories that may or may not be happening in the relationships that are commonplace in the world.

Hojo: I’ve always wondered how long I’ll be able to deliver my works as Maki Hojo to you. I want to continue to be a JAV actress forever. But I’m 45-years-old now, and no one knows if I’ll be able to continue this job into my 50s and beyond.
But it’s up to me to do my best, and whether that matches the demands of everyone, and I think I just have to keep trying. I don’t think I want to retire at all, and I want to live my life as Maki Hojo forever. I can’t imagine my life as anything other than a JAV actress.
